Please READ the last 2 pages of the chapter, beginning with "Workers' Compensation" on p228 to "The Case of The School Slip and Fall" on p229. Then DO problem #18.11, "The Case of The School Slip and Fall". Also, please define "exclusive remedy" (as it pertains to workers' compensation).

We will create a document in order to take a few notes from pgs214-217 in our textbook. Then you will READ pgs214-217 and do the "The Case of the Lung Cancer Death".

We need to note the 3 main types of torts 1) intentional wrongs 2) *negligence 3) strict liability and give examples for each.

First, let's review the STANDARD OF PROOF for civil cases. You need to know the civil standard!
