Students:  Have you ever heard the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"?  Come to the library to see a new display of books that have been covered up so you can't judge them by the cover.  If you check out one of these books, read it and return it to Mrs. Blais by May 19th, you will be entered to win a DD gift card.  


The senior class is organizing a car wash and yard sale on Saturday, May 13th from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. to sponsor Justen's Wish. If you or your club/organization would like to rent a spot for $10, please contact Mrs. DiCicco.


Attention all Juniors: Junior Prom tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $35.00 each. To purchase your ticket visit Mr. Ougheltree in room 405 with your ticket form that was sent to your e-mail account. Payments should be made with cash or a money order placed in a sealed envelope. If you are bringing a guest from another school please provide a copy of their ID. If you have any questions please see Mr. Ougheltree in room 405 before or after school. Make sure all library fines are paid you cannot attend the prom if your fines are not paid. Tickets will be sold until May5th and there will be no extensions to this deadline.


The Senior Cafeteria will be closed for AP testing on the following dates: Wednesday, May 3rd (“F”-Day), Friday, May 5th (“A”-Day), Monday, May 8th (“B”-Day), Tuesday, May 9th (“C” Day), Wednesday, May 10th (“D”-Day), and Thursday, May 11th (“E”-Day). Please plan accordingly.


Any student who is attending the Junior Prom and would like to be dismissed early on the day of the Junior Prom, May 19th, must submit a written note from a parent or guardian to the Main Office, by Friday May 12th.  

The note will be left in the main office and telephone calls will be made to verify each dismissal. The note must contain the following information: Your homeroom number, your full name and your parent or legal guardian’s telephone number. Please note that you cannot be dismissed before 11:00 AM or you will be considered absent and will unable to attend the prom. You also must arrive to school on time. You cannot be tardy. Your cooperation is necessary in order for each student to be dismissed accordingly. Dismissal slips will be distributed during Advisory on May 16th.


The Cranston Board of Canvassers is holding a Voter Registration Drive at Cranston High School East on Thursday, May 4 from 10:30 to 12:15 pm in the school cafeteria 


Attention Seniors:  Cap & Gown are available for pickup everyday in OSS at 2:00, NO EARLIER


Seniors: Prom tickets will go on sale this Wednesday in the senior cafeteria. Remember, students who pay first are able to reserve tables. Make sure you pay all library fines and return all library books. If your guest does not attend East, please attach a photocopy of their photo ID to your prom ticket order form. This form was sent to your cpsed email last week. Tickets will be on sale until May 10th. 


Come join us on May 23rd from 6-8pm for an East/West faculty/student basketball game. We are looking for faculty members and students to participate. Coach Cooley from the PC Friars will be here to help coach the event. If you are interested in participating, please contact Mrs. DiCicco in OSS. Word on the street is that Mr. Auth is already training his West team and the Falconettes are dusting off their uniforms. All money raised during this event will support "Justen's Wish." Let's show our BOLTS PRIDE



CHSE Seniors: Faculty members of the Tech Ed department will be available after school to help with Senior Portfolio Presentations on the following dates… May 2nd, May 3rd, May 4th, May 9th, May 10th. Sessions will be held in room 143,  room 105, and room 110. Please see Mr. Ruscito,   Mr. Bowling, Mr. Lavin or Mr. Bizier for details.
